It’s mid-July. The initial excitement of summer vacation has worn off – it’s hot outside and maybe a small part of you is actually starting to miss having a schedule / more of a set purpose like you do during the school year.
But, as this article which has been popping up frequently over social media the last few weeks argues, sometimes it’s good to be a little bored…after all, daydreaming can lead to creativity!

So, rather than bemoan how “boring” these weeks can be, embrace this time to do something new! Write a poem, start a novel, read a new series of books, doodle out some new characters…can you imagine something you’d like to try? Good! Just do it!
